


Who we are?
Rachel (Jamie) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York state, and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Brooklyn College and a Master of Social Work degree from NYU Silver School of Social Work
We are dedicated to supporting women through every stage of their journey into motherhood, ensuring their mental health and emotional well-being are prioritized and nurtured. Our goal is to empower women with the tools and support they need to navigate the challenges of pregnancy and the postpartum period, fostering resilience, healing, and a positive transition into motherhood.

Hospital Visitations
Clinicians are available for hospital visitations, offering support and expert guidance during the entire childbirth process to help alleviate anxieties and foster a positive birthing experience.

Postpartum home visitations
Clinicians are dedicated to continuously supporting our clients by providing postpartum home visitations, ensuring a smooth transition, and offering ongoing emotional support during this critical period.

At Matrescence, our mission is to provide compassionate and comprehensive therapeutic support to individuals navigating the journey of pregnancy and motherhood. The goal of matrescence is to work through the stigmas of motherhood, normalize the changes in our bodies, relationships, and within ourselves. It involves providing psychoeducation about the changes in the body and taking preventative measures for postpartum well-being. By addressing these aspects, individuals can better navigate the challenges and transitions associated with motherhood, leading to improved mental and emotional well-being.
